Science Café
Magazine
will create a new horizons for the Science
mediatization process that UNESCO Introduced
in its World Report of 2005.
Through the Science Café magazine, as a
professional science media platform, RASIT is
creating different opportunities for scientists to
help build the knowledge society.
The magazine will be published in Arabic and
English 6 times a year in 2011, and it will be
available for scientists, professionals, artists,
philosophers, journalists, students, companies,
institutions, and simply everyone to publish their
articles. The magazine will outline the Café’s
activities, information on discoveries, and to
raise the importance of science in developing
cultural, social, ethical, legal, educational,
personal, medical topics.

dedicated to promoting excellence in science in
Arab States. We believe that science is a vital
part of Arabic societies and culture that cannot
flourish without the support of the wider
community.

establishing a monthly seminars committed to
involving school students in learning more about
and debating science.

| Moving from Unidirectional Knowledge Transfer to Knowledge Sharing |
Seminars online is a way of sharing your
presentation with the world. Let your achievements,
experience, and vision reach a broad audience. Many
people in the world cannot make to seminars &
conferences for many financial and economic
reasons. Therefore, RASIT created this platform to
facilitate knowledge transfer.
In this section we offer lecture presentation materials.
These presentations are not intended as an
alternative to attending seminars / conferences, but
rather to help those who cannot make it for any
reasons get some information.
Scientists, engineers, health professionals .. etc.,
who are welling to assist in transferring science and
technology, and to share their knowledge with the
public are invited to DONATE their powerpoint
presentations (in English / French / Arabic) to RASIT
Science Cafe Seminars online.
If interested, simply send your presentation in
Microsoft PowerPoint format to: info@rasit.org.
